Yeah, sure. N Korea’s recent history of illegal wars, occupations, regime change, and proxy wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yugoslavia etc. is a legitimate cause for concern.

Russians are attacking Ukrainian weapons depots and army barracks while Zelenskyy is attacking residential buildings with anti-aircraft missiles with long expired shelf life. Zelenskyy already hit Poland, Romania (a jet and a chopper were downed, 8 servicemen killed), Moldova, Belarus, one donated F-16, numerous residential buildings and at least 4 children’s playgrounds inside Ukraine with these missiles. Western missiles which are sent there are also with either expired shelf life or very close to expiration date. It’s mindboggling how many buildings were hit and civilians killed (including two hapless Polish farmers) with this ongoing criminal lunacy of Zelenskyy regime. The chance of downing Russian missile is negligible in comparison with a risk of an accident with numerous civilian casualties . To give weapons to this war criminal Zelenskyy is like giving matches and gasoline to a serial compulsive arsonist.

Russians rejected any freeze of the conflict. Putin spokesperson said quite bluntly that all Russian goals had to be met (denazification, demilitarization and a neutral status of Ukraine). At this point unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.

Yeah, it's too late in the game for any negotiations. The war is lost by Ukraine. Unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine at this point. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender. Post war settlement is Russia's business.

“They may make a deal, they may not make a deal. They may be Russian some day, or they may not be Russian some day.” Trump. Ukraine will be Russian in several months. Even Zelenskyy military intelligence chief and an incorrigible optimist Budanov said that Ukraine had only 6 months left before a total collapse.
3
Yeah, it's just Trump's bluster. Either Trump accepts Putin conditions or takes a hike.

In real life almost all Russian missiles are routinely intercepted by Ukrainian army barracks and ammo depots.

Zelenskyy Kursk misadventure already failed spectacularly. Zelenskyy had a pipe dream to capture Kursk NPP. Capturing at such a staggering cost a string of villages in the middle of nowhere that can't be held makes zero military sense. Zelenskyy wasted so far 2,640 troops KIA, 298 armored vehicles, 24 artillery systems, 4 anti-aircraft systems on this another costly PR misadventure while vital Ukrainian positions at the actual front are crumbling. It's the same nutty pattern as was with Bakhmut, Krinky or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023. Zelenskyy is the gift that keeps on giving to the Russians advised by even nuttier DC gifts.

It's fake news. They haven't spoken yet.

Russians built several pontoon bridges. It's a small river, so it's not a problem. By leaving their defensive positions Ukrainians completely exposed themselves to Russian air-strikes and as they have to attack in large formations at this point it's a total disaster for Ukrainians. This lunacy will probably be the last straw that will break Zelenskyy regime back.

Putin stated his conditions for even starting negotiations on the basis of Istanbul quite clearly. 1. Full Ukrainian withdrawal from the regions that are included in Russian constitution; 2. Recognition and acceptance from Ukraine that these regions are Russian; 3. Acceptance of Ukraine's neutral status. Istanbul also included restrictions on Ukrainian army armaments and a number of personal. Russians categorically rejected any freeze of the conflict Korea-style. These conditions can get only tougher by the time. Even Trump wouldn't be able to accept these conditions explicitly without a coup attempt against him, but he could do it implicitly by cutting Ukraine's sustenance and turning the page.

Well, it's a quote from The Time article. Zelenskyy top advisers say about him: “He deludes himself,” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that. It is immovable, verging on the messianic. ” One Austrian artist was in a similar state in 1945. In fact Biden administration doesn't see Ukraine beyond a spring next year. It already appointed a team to prepare a deployment of American troops to Poland that would "prevent" Russian invasion into NATO. Of course these are just political games and nobody believes that Russians have such intentions. It's all about creating narrative not reality.

Ukrainian army is crumbling. Zelenskyy should have learned from his mustached predecessor's experience in 1945 that kidnapping hapless cannon fodder off the streets when the war is already lost is no good.

Everything is fine! All Russian missiles were intercepted by Ukrainian army barracks and ammo depots.

This BS has nothing to do with Trump. It's WSJ neocon-lite plan. Anyway it's a complete nonstarter for Russians.
