  1. 36k is way too much for an average cost and the used car market is where most sales happen. Who wants a used $12,000 battery? This is a horrific idea to switch all cars to EV... Let the market dictate which is best and do not stop production on fossil fuel vehicles unless they stop selling. Not a bunch of politicians who obviously are getting ton of money to speed this process along.
