  2. They lost10-20 million casuals when MJ retired. People who were watching the finals because it was the "thing to watch". Hard to replicate that. NFL has the casuals now, there's a BUNCH of people who are just watching it because it's "the game". Kind of like people were going crazy for game of thrones or something. After MJ retired, WWF became "the thing to watch", they fell a few years later. Recently it was Caitlyn Clark. NBA does not know how to create rivalries or create new stars. Ja Morant was becoming 1 until he messed up.
