  4. @ Beterbiev never said he will retire after stop it and boxing can keep running with Beterbiev fighting Benavidez. If he decided to retire, Bivol and Benavidez can still fight after. Canelo will never give a shot to Benavidez with or without the belts. He is a coward. Benavidez will get a chance at the winner anyways. He is the mandatory for the WBC and WBA. I don’t mind if the belts are scattered anyways. It gives a chance for others to have a title and it keeps the division active.

At the time, Jermall was dangerous. That’s the reason Canelo requested the franchise belt. To avoid his mandatory which was Charlo. You can’t change history. This is what happened.

Kovalev had to accept the fight / the offer quickly. All the advantages were to Canelo. It wasn’t the same thing at all casual. You don’t know boxing if you didn’t even know what I just said.

Canelo is 34 years old and at his age, he is not even willing to face the best. Floyd at 36 was still challenging himself. I think if you are in the sport, you should always try to fight the best, if not, simply retire. That way you are not holding the belts hostage. Canelo is holding the belts hostage and it’s unfortunate. I would love to see him face Diego Pacheco, Mbilli. I wouldn’t mind a Plant rematch. We all wanted the Benavidez fight but Canelo is avoiding him unfortunately. He avoided Morell as well. It would have been cool to see Canelo vs Morell. Give a chance for others who are considered elite or dangerous to challenge for the belts. Fighting the likes of Munguia or Berlanga is not fighting the elites at all.
