The EV industry is just as polluting than ICE industry But there is 50 years oil reserves Where the world has 400 years of rare earths reserves Where China just found another deposit that would be adding another 120 years in reserves to its own Rare Earths reserves

I mean it takes 2000 tons of wasted toxic water to make a ton of rare earths There is a toxic lake in China 7 miles wide…. With that said Atleast that environmental pollution is localized And the EV cars are not emitting pollutants And the methods to get the oil sands in Canada, Shale oil in places like the USA offshore drilling and tanker mishaps can be just as polluting
