Where you were Foreign Direct Investment from that Chinese diasporia/overseas Chinese Was the largest of type of investment from any investors That led to the rise of mainland China

  2. I find HongKongers very naive. When I ask them why they kept protesting. They had won China/Hong Kong Government at the time walked back their new security law. Where the protest morphed into democracy demonstrations where policemen were attacked and rioters started damaging property What did they expect was going to happen? Why not take the victory and bide your time for the next protest with 20 years to go Waving US flags. As you attack a policeman... In the USA you get shot on the street for attacking policemen unless you are white and conservative 😅

  3. China went from virtually no chip making abilities and foundries to where it is today in 5 years. Everyone knows they ain't the world leaders in that semiconductor field. Yet here you are arguing they ain't the only one who makes chips. Which is very telling in itself But they do lead the world in 37 of the 44 critical technologies of the future Btw you know fully well. China was trying to shutdown its overheated real estate markets Since 2010. That's why you heard about Shadow Banks underground economy and money flow being cut off to local Governments and property developers. And the common prosperity push crack down on overt displays of wealth these days.
