Canadian here we lived the good life high standard of living on borrowed and spent money running up the Provincial/Federal debt to 2 trillion We stopped meeting, "natural" population replacement rates in 1971 And we will have 11 million seniors by 2036 So we bring in the immigrants to prop up the economy, pay down that debt, and take care of us in old age

So you didn't save any money with your non universal health care as things will only get worse
