@ricecrash5225 probably take…. you not having to lock up toothpaste behind a cabinet Because you are afraid to shutdown stores and be called racist But that will only happen after you crash the US economy and offer them a 2 fer 1 American deal

You are talking China... At this point. Teslas are behind on price, production, quality, innovation etc At this pint its brand recognition for Teslas in China In the usa there is a growing demographic of Americans who hate anything green, clean, renewable etc

@someuser7501 brand recognition not that hard to understand It’s generally accepted Chinese cars are cheaper, better l, more innovative Just like it’s generally accepted these days IPhone is falling behind Huawei Yet I’m sure iPhone outsells Huawei even in China But that will eventually change

@someuser7501 also not that hard to understand the perception, Chinese made is inferior Even if it’s not true anymore it’s still going to take time I’ve been a China watcher since the late 1980s Even 5 years ago I as well would have scoffed at the idea if you told me Chinese were making cars let alone Cheaper, better, faster, more innovative etc etc etc Infact About 5 years ago I was calculating the monthly cash burn rates for Tesla As everyone was expecting Tesla to go bankrupt 👇 Tesla was 'about a month' from bankruptcy during key period, Musk says Model 3 ramp pushed the electric car maker to the limit Foxnews 👇 How Elon Musk Built a Tesla Factory in China in Less Than a Year Elon Musk presided over a ceremony at a new multibillion-dollar plant near Shanghai—its first outside the U.S.—where Tesla handed over the first China-made Model 3 sedans to the public Musk’s charm offensive in China has appeared to pay off. Originally just a muddy plot about a 90-minute drive away from Shanghai’s city center, the China plant has quickly come online since it broke ground at the start of 2019. It took twice as long for Tesla’s Gigafactory near Reno, Nevada to begin churning out batteries. Back in China, Tesla has been winning various concessions from local authorities ranging from approvals to preferential loans — all the more notable given the trade war with the U.S Fortune

@someuser7501 Plus my guess is China is going to allow Musk to transfer data out of China Even though they really shouldn’t 👇 Days after deferring India visit, Tesla CEO Elon Musk lands in China Elon Musk has been looking to obtain approval to transfer data collected in China to train algorithms for its autonomous driving technologies. Musk has been looking to obtain approval to transfer data collected in China to train algorithms for its autonomous driving technologies. The company since 2021 has been storing all data collected by its Chinese fleet in Shanghai as required by Chinese regulators. Indian express

@markthomas7279 Chinese have always operated on thin margins. But make up for it on bulk orders of what ever product they are selling This Chinese made item is overpriced Not something you heard often the last 50 years
