All the people crying only have themselves to blame We lived the good life/high standard of living on borrowed money for decades upon decades upon decades As we ran up the debt to the 2 trillion in Provincial/Federal debt So the good ole days some people pine for we did not pay for the first time around Worse we stopped meeting "natural"" population replacement rates in 1971 Even worse than that we will have close to 11 mostly old stock Canadian seniors by 2036 As we have close to 1000 Canadians turning 65 each and everyday. That started in 2011 won't end until 2028 Someone has to come prop up the economy, pay down that debt we ran up, and take care of us as we age
