But, in my field at least, computers, I have assigned projects, assigned time frame, daily progress reports, daily morning status with the team. It's very hard to slack off.   65. Yup. I work from home, computer programmer, and it saves me ton of money on gas, food, and time. My company decided it's cheaper and easier to do it that way. Yes, I do laundry for the family in between, I can start dinner at3 before family gets home, I can clean, mow, change oil on the car, or just take a 15 minute shuteye at noon. My productivity is fantastic, I got more work done than being in the office and the stress of the daily life is so much less. I don't have to wait to the weekends to cram all the to do list. There is a lot of down time in between jobs so instead of wandering around the office chatting i am doing something productive.
