Lack of education and understanding of basic economical policies, markets, society, immigration laws, etc... If you look at Missouri all of the state outside of Kansas City Metro, St. Louis Metro, and Columbia who voted Blue, the rest are red. Are they racists? I don't think they are like that, nice kind people but they are not educated. What can be done? Education, other than your normal K-12 and college. Education in real issues of life, economy, and politics. Open their eyes.

Not to mention any company saves millions not paying utilities, cleaning staff, office supplies, coffee, phones, fax machines, etc... They can downsize the building soace and save on rent, insurance, and maintenance. The employees now have to provide the space, utility,phone, food, coffee and insurance. Duh.

As a previous car salesman, new cars, I can tell you the sales staff for most part want to make a good and honest sale. They want you happy so you send can people their way. referral sales are better than walk-up sales. Less headache. Again most sales people, there are a bunch of high strung idiot also 😂. But, as the saying goes Sh&t flows downhill. It's the senior management who pressure the sales staff to be that way, the pit them against each other, they threaten them, they abuse them verbally, they steal from their commission, and a lot more. The old guard in the tower big offices don't care, if you can't make it they got plenty of applicants.

I have a 2003 Camry 2.4 L. It has 291000 miles. I had it for few years and it alway gave me around 23 mpg give or take a mile or two. Same gas station, regular service I do myself, all clean MAF, throttle body, air cleaner, oil changes etc.. I put a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil thst has been sitting in my home shop for 2 years. I poured it in the oil with the last change. By the next oil change, 5000 miles, my gas mpg was at 27 mpg. I don't know exactly what it did, but I am sold. Also, oil use dropped drastically, not that it was bad, quart per 1000 miles. But it's half of that now, atleast.

I am going to make a comment and it's NOT directed at YOU. I never done business with you. I am making this in general. I do DIY auto repairs and 90% of my "clients" are poor people with barely enough money to pay rent and eat. I don't charge labor, just have them pay for the part. half of the time I pay for it anyway. My goal is to make sure people have a reliable transportation to work so they can pay the rent and eat. I am really very saddened by how much some of get taken for a ride on those cheap cars. Dealers basically spit and polish the car and sell it. No effort as much as change the oil, filter, or any basic BASIC safety repair. I mean a $3000 car isn't going to make much money in profit but hell, they could spend $100-$200 on fluids and brake pads. The buyers are happy to save and buy a car and don't want or need more expenses. I know some will say, "Well, what do you expect for $2500 car?" I say I expect at least honest dealing, not hiding problems, not erasing codes, and at leas for safety an oil change, new brake bulb, new wiper, and new pads. I am done ranting LOL.

I know you don't have option since stuff is delivered to the shop and you find the issue after a while when you need to use the part. I as a DIY will never pay for the part until I check and double check and count the components. I had Hubs missing bolts, brake kits missing shims and boots, and so on. Also for anyone who rents tools from parts store. try the tool THERE before you leave the counter. Make sure everything is working, tight, spins, slides, rotates. I had pullers that the main bolt's threads were stripped or the nut cross threaded and so on. If I leave and come back usually in couple of hours with it broken, guess who will pay the $300 for it. ME. Check the parts and check the tools before leaving the counter. As far as the parts stores, I put the blame 100% on them, they must verify the part returned is complete, not used and cleaned or "pieces borrowed". That means they have to pull it on the computer before issuing a refund and look. I don't care if they are busy, it's part of the job. Also the store must NOT open a box and take a part out because someone ordered it and they want it now, that leaves a kit with missing parts. Seen it happen with my own eyes.
