  1. Yup I lived there for many years, and the Germans are a highly educated and disciplined people and yet they seem to willingly be on some kind of cultural death spiral. From open borders, to backing openly declared Yazi in Ukraine and idly ignoring the fact that America has cut off their cheap energy supplies, to deindustrialising, it is weird beyond belief. I can’t work it out, as I was, and still am, very impressed with the levels of common sense and intelligence they clearly have.
