  1.  @twatts1523  I lived there, and they are indeed allowed to fish. There is a exclusion zone they are not allowed into, but before the Israelis pulled out of Gaza it was a prosperous fruit and fishing region with great beach bars and surf culture. That disappeared overnight. Yer gets what yer vote for.

  3. i was a Diplomat in the Middle East. The millions given to HAMAS over the last few decades was in no way monitored. Finklestien is wrong about that. In fact most of the so called ‘respected organisations’ he talks about were mainly manned by hippies who seemed to have a bizarre hatred of Isreal. I’m no fan of Piers but he should have been better armed with facts to dismantle Finklestiens nonsense. I lived in Gaza and the Palestinians were just lazy spongers firing missiles into Isreal year after year. Now they’re getting them back and they don’t like it.
