Thousands of people were involved in the mechanics of the holocaust and their compliance allowed the handful who carried out the killings to operate. Had the majority simply said no it wouldn’t have happened. The Germans are enthusiastically arming Nazis in Ukraine now, with panzers rolling around the battlefields, much as they did with Croatian Nazis in the Balkans conflict of the 90s. Don’t be fooled. They know fine well what they enable. Munch was no different. And neither is anybody by their silence.
