It got invaded by Chinese Nationalists in 1945, many of the indigenous population were slaughtered during the ‘White Terror.’ And now only 80,000 of the indigenous Formosan population is left alive. It might be ‘democratic’ today but thats after Iiving under Ciñese Nationalist martial law between 1949-1987. I live in Taiwan, and just because you’ve dug out a few air-soft loonies playing at Rambo does not mean the general population is going to be suckered into becoming the next Ukraine because America want’s to go to war with China because it owes them too much money. Forget about it no one here is signing up to fight ‘Woke War Three’ for the Neo -Cons. Luckily the population of indigenous Formosans and the Chinese settlers and their descendants get along well, so stop trying to stir the pot with your selective and frankly bizarre fake history. Taiwans future will be settled through the ballot box.
