  1. The most illuminating fact to come out of the Ukrainians complete failure is that they are following NATO advice, after receiving NATO training and intelligence and using NATO weapons. All this and the Russians have battered them since day one. Bottom line had the Cold War gone hot we in the West would have lost. I doubt a functioning modern airforce would have made much difference.
