@shaunwilson3059 at precisely the same time, any idea how many millions Sir Robert Clive wilfully starved to death in India to safeguard the profits of the East India Company which went in the treasury and which helped the Britain of today? Happy to give you numbers if you like? Or maybe you didn’t know that the mills of Northern England were the biggest consumers of cheap American cotton (they could have bought it elsewhere, slavery-free but they liked the cheaper prices) which ensured the continuation of American slavery for another century and a half after you ‘abolished’ it. And it was only stopped by the Americans, not you. I will bring you back to the harsh reality you seem so keen to escape.
