@darthpepe2994 and yet the UK government is deeply involved in that. Sending billions each year. Whereas this was just a vote with no cost attached and somehow it still did not happen.

@darthpepe2994 it’s not quite that simple. Britain sells a lot of arms to Israel, to Saudi and elsewhere. So when those countries have a war, Britain profits. And so it’s not in the interest of Britain to call for ceasefires that will see the sale of arms and therefore revenues, disappear.

@darthpepe2994 well yes they are. And since Britain has repeatedly voted Tory who are rampant arms dealers and rabid Israel supporters (remember Priti Patel doing deals with the Israelis without the UK’s permission?), Britain has by default voted for this type of dependency on foreign powers for business and all the dark dealings to maintain this, by voting Tory.
