@julianwilton6997 The only thing monstrous with the Mac Pro was/is the price, I have a Ryzen 9 3950x dual 2080ti PC that will compete easily with the Mac Pro and was a fraction of the cost. And I say this as a 3 decade Mac OS user who decided to go a different route with my main studio computer last year. The M1 chip however has peaked my interest in Apple again. But let's see how this pans out.

@demef758 We're not talking about the 90's here though, I have a 2018 MBP that has a knackered keyboard and a service battery warning light and it's just over two years old. Meanwhile I have a 2012 MBP that pretty much lasted until 2018 when I bought the new MBP. Apple quality has gone right down the pan. But that's what they want, they want you to folk out for a new machine every 3 years or so. Hardly evironmentally friendly though is it. Also FTR I have a 2004 PPC G5 that still works perfectly, no modern software will run on it as it's pre-intel but it's 16 years old and still works perfectly.
