  1. I like Gary Stevensons idea of 1% wealth tax on net assets over £10 million valuing assets like property, businesses, and art. That'd be a good start. As far as valuation, where there's a will there's a way. It's a cop out saying that it can't be done because it's hard though. For sure.

  3. It's not nonsense at all. The benefits system needs an overhaul, it's nearly £350billion or the equivalent of 12.9% of the UK's GDP at present. The two things are not mutually exclusive as you seem to think though.
