@lindafielding6733 That was AV ( alternative vote ) a ranked-choice voting system where voters rank candidates in order of preference instead of just choosing one. It was defeated by a "No" vote of 67.9%, keeping FPTP in place. The turnout was really low though. The public weren't really interested.

@johnwilliams9914 It wasn't just the right wing press, the party itself was completely divided. It wouldn't have succeeded under Corbyn and he lost by a landslide in 2019 with the worst result since 1935. I mean, you had to be there though, I went to a few local London Labour meetings around the time and came away several times thinking that the whole party was an utter mess.

He's spread himself a little thin trying to do a video a day, that's for sure.

Ethno-Nationalism , authoritarian, historical Revisionism, anti-Democratic rhetoric, links to Extremists. I mean, what would you call this party then?

The greens could run a bath.

@ colin_boyle I disagree, I want to a central London vote count last summer for the West End and other councils by-elections, the Greens I spoke to there were clueless. You couldn't put them near Westminster. I mean. the Greens in Bristol are doing an awful job. For once I actually agree with Murphy, which is saying something.

The Greens and their policies have contributed to economic struggles, energy shortages, and industrial decline in Germany. In respect to that they've declined in popularity

@robmaslen6446 I thought you were talking about Greens in Germany. What I said is true in respect to that. The Greens in the UK couldn't run a bath.

@matthewdobson100 I never mentioned Reform, Reform would be an utter joke.

@matthewdobson100 I don't think most people understand PR either to be honest. In respect to that I don't believe there would be more of a turnout.
