  12. It's been happening since the late 90's here, it's not something that's new. Buy to let and sites like Air B&B play a huge part in this, as do greedy estate agents. And then there's the policies of selling off social housing stock and not replacing it, I mean, you absolutely cannot rule out supply and demand here either, that would be nonsense. In London we have high end developments that are literally sold as investments and not homes. Pension funds are already investing on housing stock. The problems are obvious though, it's the solutions we need to be debating.

  20. The duke of Westminster paid zero inheritance tax on a £9bn inherited fortune back in 2016. The rich literally don't ever pay it. I mean, Labour just got destroyed for trying to address this. It'll never change.
