  1. @Dimkoin. Thing is though, they weren't always this bad. I have a 2012 MBP where virtually everything has been swapped out, upgraded or replaced by myself no problem at all, screen, RAM, HD to SSD, magsafe board, keyboard, backlight etc. etc. You could do this right up until the 2015 models too. The last few years however you can't upgrade or repair a damn thing. That's a recent change in business strategy by Apple at the expense of their customers and, to be honest, it's arrogant and it sucks.
