  1. Is JRM mad? People like him bang on about growth, what grows the economy is Economic activity and production. We produce very little anymore in this country, we could be on the leading edge of production but we have sold it all away. If your country produces nothing, it becomes the product. Immigration does not grow the economy in any stable meaningful way.

  6. My neighbours have sent their sons to private school, they are trying the hardest to do this with a couple of low middle income wages. I can well imagine their situation if this goes through. I'm sure they aren't alone.
