It's all finding its roots in feminism and post modernism. There is no doubt the push for equality in first wave feminism was done for nothing more than the best intentions. However once that battle was won, the activists and other apparently aggrieved and apparently oppressed people found themselves with a blueprint to make victimhood pay, all done under the guise of "decency", the common sensed people leading us thought nothing of this, kicked the can down the road thinking that nothing would come of it and allowed it to control, and take over what is meant by "good and decent". Now it's infested everything like Japanese knotweed and only a burn out will get rid of it now.
