  1. When I worked in a busy Clinical Chemistry dept, the dept dealt with processing results for a test called AFP. Alpha feto Protein as a marker for pregnancy related difficulty. This was a common test performed as part of the service for Assisted Pregnancy in the NHS. Anyway on any given day the list of names would come down with the samples and on average over 60% were south Asian names. Take from that what you will but assisted pregnancy often produces twins or triplets even.
