  1. The UN is a terrible organisation, it's essentially a tax on richer nations, they involve themselves in various projects and peacekeeping in war torn areas of the world. That sounds laudable and it would be if they actually got anything sorted out. Instead the peacekeepers from other poor nations rake in huge sums of money for their participation, there is no motivation to sort anything out efficiently, if they did then the lolly of international money stops. This is why the UN detests the UK being directly involved in it's on the ground affairs. We get things done! I served as part of the response in South Sudan in 2018. The UK military achieved more in 6 months than the UN could achieve in 10 years! We embarrass the UN because we show them up for what they are and showcase their greed for international money in the name of peacekeeping! It is as they say "a self licking lolly".
