  1. I think the lesson here is that all peoples do and did bad things to each other. The current stupidity of Europe and the US is to punish itself as if it was the only peoples doing this sort of thing. The message really is simple, forgive people...and treat folk as you would expect to be treated. Stop the retributive action of identity and group think.
