  1. My 18 year old son humorously thinks I'm a horrific racist. I am not. However when I show him how the major institutions in our country are effectively discriminating against him by advertising for BAME only candidates he sees my point. Take even my own employer. The precious "Our NHS"...in my dept there are 47 people. Overwhelmingly female naturally, out of that 47, there are 4 white blokes, and 5 white females (2 of which are the band 8 managers). The rest of the dept is from a visible minority. How is this diversity working for the majority indigenous here? The worst part is aside from a couple of the Indian guys the rest are work shy, constantly off on the sick, and I really wouldnt want to have the pleasure of their clinical treatment which mirrors their attitude to work in general.
