  1. This is standard in the NHS nowadays especially in big city hospitals. I work in the god forsaken institution and it is riven with the things you speak of here. Yet we are told we need more of this gang to "look after our aging population"! That would be fine if the system wasnt clogged with patients from poor countries with very complicated medical ailments and genetic problems being "looked after" by the very bunch you speak of as well our own folk. Stupid government, stupid NHS, stupid people accepting it.
