  1. Or as i call them...jumped up civil servants. We have somehow managed to breed a series of politicians on both sides who much prefer to have others make the decisions. The EU, china, the americans. We have sold off or destroyed our production base, our institutions, our media, our laws, our heritage to the lowest bidders. Incredibly short sighted policies with horrific unintended consequences. The creeping into virtually everything in our society of "acceptable mediocrity". I see this more than most working in an inner city NHS hospital.
