Yet the current fashion of bashing the British and their history is very much a generalisation, a macro analysis, and takes nothing like an individual analysis unless it is to pick out those individuals who's actions support the bashing. For example the Amritsar massacre. You never hear from the progressives about the individuals that pushed to end slavery and prevent others from doing it.
