Techies played and built far too many domination video games isolated in their Moms basement, completely unconnected to REAL people and only talking amongst like minded introverts online, playing with game theory delusions of global domination.... and this is the result. 🥸They want to either control or to exterminate the "Normies" that they never understood and were probably bullied by.... now they are billionaires with the ear of a somewhat uninformed, not too smart, fickle, one trick pony, self obsessed president.... it's a teenage revenge scenario on the human race. 🙁

This Ruskoff guy is great, first time I've heard him and I definitely want his book! I've been wondering the same thing, what the hell do these gazillionaires think they'll acquire by destroying the world that evolved naturally as we've known it for the last 15,00 years? After the holocaust what? Infinite boredom from the lack of our cultural richness and diversity, nations zombified into what... phony Disneylands for the bored, with scurrying cyborgs at their beck and call? Lust for Mars? Just one enormous gated planet with no one left to impress while the slave bots toil unceasingly to destroy all that made us unique in the Cosmos to maintain the lifestyles of narcissistic spoiled brats? I say it's time to remove their toys and manipulations and stick them into a corner until they learn some human manners or better yet... totally remove them from our beautiful blue marble in the sky like the rabid dogs they have become.

The one principle question that never gets asked is... what is governments role and what should it be doing for YOU The Citizens of any nation. If the only thing it's doing in the name of 'defending' you is STARTING foreign wars, regime change operations and creating a brainwashing media, accepting bribes by the richest and totally ignoring the will of the people, that is not a government by or for the people. If your country is totally in decline because the supra rich are monopolizing EVERYTHING and you are sleeping in the streets because you can't get a job because they've been offshored and can't afford anything anymore, the Social Contract has been BROKEN and you are run by feudal lords who actually own your government and are making all the rules... that is Oligarchy not freedom.
