You can practice all the things you prefer, you don't need an Imam with his own 'interpretation' to tell you what to think, that should be your right as a free thoughtful human being to find out for yourself what is appropriate for you.

I'm from an Italian family with many members in Britain who made their fortunes because Italian bureaucracy is ridiculously stifling for NEW entrepreneurs (the old money doesn't want the competition)... but they don't go around saying that they 'made' the UK, they went there to make more money and admit it! 😉

The thing is... you were raised in the West within a non religious family and have never actually been the victim of a Muslim world, your attitudes are the same as any other westerner, so of course you weren't raised in fear like most Muslim women have been. I am curious how your family feels about you putting yourself in peril like this, because you are!? There are many extremist Muslims in the UK and all over Europe with no intention whatsoever of "When in Rome, do as the Romans do.".... they are striving for conquest or murder, it's just that their countries don't have sufficient arms to invade and have an all out war on the west.... though I'm sure there are many Imams who would wish it! Because their mentality is.... you will be converted by force whether you like it or not, choice is not an option. This is the fundamental weakness of Islam... you will never have the right to be an individual with your own thoughts or ideas if it isn't dictated by that 2000 yr old Q'uran, full of primitive habits from countries with very harsh climates where survival was a question of life or death.... it is a brutal, nihilist religion. Fundamentally I think that Islam is not really a religion but more a totalitarian dictatorship that forces everyone to comply under THEIR oppressive rules.... and it's a way to keep their citizens under mental lock and key in exactly the same way that the world economic forum would like every human being on earth to be..... mindless slaves. Not much different from what the USA, UK, EU and all the other 5 eyes countries are trying to force onto their citizens in our once proud experiments as Democratic nations.... that is over now!!! The media pushes nothing but propaganda lies, social media and creators are squelched if they dare tell the TRUTH about just about anything at this point and Washington DC is full of corruption, crooks, shysters and liars for $$$, that's what the narcissists and the mega-rich love.... total control of ALL the riches to be had on this planet and an enormous slave class to serve their every spoiled brat whims and it's decades now that they have bought puppets to infiltrate all of our governments. Biden, Starmer, Macron, Rutte, Merkyl, Trudeau etc and many other even lower level traitors. If I were you I would stop attempting to proceed with this battle you have taken on... your programming is not their programming and as you yourself should know by now.... they WILL terminate anyone who doesn't comply with the ideology!!! And the rest of us will soon be in the same peril as you are right now. These are dangerous times indeed, for all of us.
