  17. Seriously??? Have you actually looked at the world in the last 30 years? Capitalism is not the problem, we have always been traders and merchants, but MONOPOLY Capitalism without competition or controls is the problem, to the point that they now OWN all of our governments... which is the death of any governments democratic mandate to be responsible towards the wellbeing of ALL of it's citizens. That is no longer happening in America. This obsession with money that gives them unlimited and unregulated power, they can buy or destroy anyone for the right price... at ANY COST to the majority, this is a death march to a hell that the monopolists have created. I'm for a democratic capitalist socialism that considers all of the citizens needs and their aspirations instead of just the highest briber$. All Americans flourished when the monopolists paid 91% tax during the Eisenhower years, because that money then went back to benefit those independent businesses and the jobs they created and that money flowed back into communities and made them strong and we became the envy of the world as the true epitome of individual opportunity... if you took a risk, worked hard, anyone could make a better life for themselves and their families. No more. So where are we now? Unilever, Walmart, Amazon, the Tech Cos, big pharma, those Wall St shysters and those damn private equity firms etc have gobbled up most of our former independent businesses that once made our communities strong and united... America is now a wasteland of broken opportunities and dreams for ANYONE to advance towards a more prosperous future thanks to the unrestrained, uncontrolled and under-taxed.... gluttonous maw of Monopoly.

  19. Hogwash on the part Ramaswamy... America shipped out it's manufacturing so there are no decent paying jobs for average people, the stock market is for the rich and the 'former' middle class and has been monumentally a fraud fest ex; 2008, all housing has now been manipulated by the so called asset managers, ie; Blackrock, Vanguard etc. MONOPOLY is out of control, price fixing, designed obsolescence and the buying of our so called 'Representatives' is an insult to any civil society. I mean seriously, who today event mentions the words "Civil Contract"? NO.. the government is not JUST for defense, we are actually a government of murderous Imperialist OFFENSE, making war all over the planet for the profits of a few resource rapists, monopolists and PRIVATE central bankers from which WE The People have gained nothing, not even in the supposed richest country on earth do we have a national healthcare service... instead we go bankrupt if bad luck should come knocking on our bodies door, the private ins cos suck us dry trying to stay alive while rejecting obvious necessities decided by an actual Physician who knows what should be done for the welfare of their patients, NOT AN INSURANCE BUREAUCRAT WHO KNOWS NOTHING or cares as long as the insurance co makes profit. Any governments job SHOULD be to protect the welfare of it's people, not tax them to death while the mega rich skate free with a thousand bought facilitations by bribing those 'Representatives' who oddly end up 10 times richer than they started while we get poorer everyday. And isn't it interesting that the first place Doge goes is not to the fraudsters on Wall St. or the FED or the Ukraine money drain, but instead to the only social safety net left in the USA for the majority of it's citizens... Social Security, Medicare and medicaid for those who have no other monies in their old age, because pensions have been murdered thanks to all those mergers, acquisitions and stripping of former independents businesses into the monopolist blob, which is something both parties have been wanting to get their hot little hands on for the last 50 yrs. Frankly you are deluded if what he says strikes a positive cord in you... it simply means you are 'comfortable' and have never had to worry about a roof over your head, where your next meal is coming from because of the inflated prices of food or how to clothe your kids.
