  2.  @smolenskkid  There have been numerous cases where people have been reported to have died, when they haven't. I think there is at least one person who has had their obituary printed 3 times, while they are still alive and kicking. So, the issue with Blythe having died is the result of bad research by the original author of the book, while Cpt Nixon saying Hitler was dead 1 week early could be attributed to typical army scuttlebutt.

  3. Yes, I agree that Gettysburg, Zulu, Waterloo, Tora Tora Tora, The Longest Day, Battle of Britain, To Hell and Back, etc., should all have been included in the list. They probably didn't have enough "artistry" and gore to satisfy the reviewers.
