@Cconifer49 I appreciate your reflections here! Candace is new in the faith and you can tell for her it's like finding a gift that you just want to give everyone. But your comments are fair. I think she'll evolve. I've see the arc of so many ppl of faith...and as you get older, ppl (hopefully) fall away from legalism and lean into the one to one relationship they have with their Creator. The things that are private but edifying are the foundation of my faith...praying, giving grace, accepting grace, trying to be a good person, all of these things can be had without stepping a foot into a church. I'd also note that as Christian I didn't really like the Christians I was around. Being Christian doesn't automatically make you likeable and/or perfect. You're simply signing up to follow Jesus' example and accept His grace....while Catholics believe they need to confess in a certain way, all Christians don't.

Facts 🙌🏾❤. I've always felt this way. Drugs and addictions of all kinds are indiscriminate....they tear down black families in addition to white and others in different ways.

1000000000% agree lol. That part kind of made me chuckle. I'm from New York and used to see Trump around the social scene. Everyone in those circles know their guy has not changed one bit. He is not a conservative though he has adopted some conservative talking points.

1:14:29 wow appreciate the transparency and vulnerability in your faith. To be honest, I don't think we see it from you often. And is part of the reason I couldnt 100% get on board with the way you deliver some of your other content. It seemed to be missing a lot of grace for ppl and the reality of people just not being perfect. Even these Hollywood folks...many of them are just human beings that got thrust into the limelight and trying to capitalize on it. They end up being victims of their own choices; and instead of giving the grace, conservatives respond with 45 min angry rants. Candace has been a part of this, at times. But I'm really appreciating her growth. I can get behind a woman that doesn't waiver on values, but still delivers them with grace and humility even to ppl that don't believe in it. I'm an independent because I think the vitriol poltics brings out of ppl is just not for me and so I rather not be associated with a side on paper. But this more balanced approach in this interview is such a gem. Keep on going, Candace! More grace, not less.

⁠⁠ @minime7375 thanks for clarifying but doesn't change why I agreed with the notion that he's always been a liberal. I tend to think the 'social conservative' part is the real litmus test because that has to do with how you comport yourself and expect others do as well. For example, if Amber Rose said she's fiscally conservative but stripping on only fans, I don't think that's real conservatism in practice. (Re DTJ, Ask anyone on the upper east side in NYC who has lived there for more than 20 years and who works for any NYC socialite like my last nanny did. If anything, it was a shock that he had any conservatism in his bones as well given his reputation in New York with the women as a married man. Honestly, Amber Rose is more conservative in that respect than DTJ. It's just the truth and that's why I said I chuckled because I find it so interesting how a random real estate hustler from NYC became president of the US given his reputation).

I'm not joking. Can everyone who listens to Amber's comment right here (1:12:18) and who is a Christian say a prayer for her? Let's send thousands up. Amber, God is real and He's always loved you. And it's NEVER late, never. Someone said something like that to me years ago...I wasn't strong in the faith to begin with so I believed them. It's NOT TRUE!

This interview is both great and upsetting for me lol. I'm landing on mixed feelings because everything that Amber said is what so many liberals who are Christian have been pointing out. For example, the Rnb artists on Diddy's album lead song "What's Love" (his latest album) are Christian. There are many of us in entertainment and other fields deemed "progressive" because we lean into the social justice warrior and savior that Jesus was when he walked this earth and is. He literally sat with prostitutes "on the other side" and brought justice to those deemed unworthy in his day (Psalm 82, Isaiah 1:17, John 8, Matthew 8). Many of us are independent or independent but liberal leaning bc we know where God took us from....it's difficult to make sound decisions when you are trying to do so alone and being attacked (by people like Candace sometimes -- we gotta be honest). I hope this conversation with Amber actually is a door for the conservative Christians that prefer to act like Pharisees: people are not performing for you. This is people's real life's and everyone isnt born with all the perfect circumstances that the right often attacks people for....Whether it's black youth in urban cities, or disadvantaged white young men in Appalachia. If conservatives (and liberals!) dialed back that hive mentality, we'd be able to see the issues we're dealing with in this country with clearer eyes. Bc, for example, many years ago I worked in the seaport and shipping logistics industry. I've seen these drug busts and I can tell you.....there are NO drugs coming into the U.S. without an AMERICAN distributor on the other side + American demand + our country's economic policies 10x the issue. If baffles me that folks who are America First, don't get that in order to be a big dog in the world, our country has done A LOT of dirty work by both left and the round....we didn't get there by telling the truth and playing nice. A lot of the issues we have are our own making. That's just one example, but we frame our problems in "left" or "right" language that digs at the other side, rather than objectively looking at the problem.

@minime7375 In our country, the warmongers have historically been conservatives. And currently, the new neocon class rising on the right is also a faction of conservatism now -- and of course they love war as well. From the concerns you outlined above, it seems you're better aligned with the Democrats than the guy cosplaying conservatism! Europe might not be chuckling then when it comes to Ukraine or Israel bc allies will be pulled into their warmongering.

@yalechuk6714 Trump supporters as defined by "maga" is actually a small faction of the traditional Republican Party. Prior to Trump, the status quo conservative was more like Mike Pence than Trump. And actually most of the party is like Pence, not Trump. The "America First" language has been thrown around by MAGA because they overwhelming DID NOT want to go to war, while republicans like Nikki Haley is writing "finish them" on bombs and makes her money from the military complex. If anything, not wanting to go to war has been the one unifying thing between hardcore MAGA folks and young liberals on college campuses right now. And all you have to do is look at the polls and watch conservative analyst describe the exact same scenario as they observing what's happening at the macro level in the Republican Party. Much more MAGA folks in America are represented by views espoused by Matt Walsh, Candace Owens, and that other guy that got fired from Fox (all "American first" Righties), than Ben Shapiro or Megyn Kelly who have egged on several wars prior.

It blew my mind when i found out why those young s3x worker women go on podcasts like the one Candace went on.... it's because the conservative men that are the target audience of these podcasts are actually the biggest subscribers to these women's only fans. So they denigrate them on the podcast show, but then turn around and pay money to subscribe to the degeneracy. Like you said... they are not innocent

Wow so sorry that happened to you. That therapist should lose her license, frankly. Please don't be turned off by therapy though...it just wasn't a good match and I have no idea why that lady decided to beat you over the head with the Bible. I hate when ppl in my my community that profess to be believers do that. So sorry! We're not all like that
