Imagine if it would be more expensive.
32
It is the most expensive SYSTEM in history yes, but not the most expensive single entity in the US arsenal. The carriers and a B-2 for example are both more expensive single units.

@ilovecops5499 You drunk?

JSM, JSOW, SOM has entered the chat. S-500 has left the chat.
4
@jnonya7743 Its not rising. Its doing the exact opposite.
4
The 35 can brrrrt on its own, just not as loud.
3
Also, i would pinpoint which model of the 35, not just "the F-35".
3
@EgorKaskader No. SImply because AA stands for air to air/anti air. That means killing things that are in the air. Not on the ground. That is ATG (air to ground).
2
@EgorKaskader Look up the definition you.
2
@EgorKaskader I don't really care as long as i'm right. Sorry if i offended you.
2
@StoutProper Umm no.
2
@ilovecops5499 k
2
@8888stealth And that's not what happened in this case.
2
Well, that's not how that works so no.
2
Sad that.
2
My ears are bleeding from that metal scratching.
2
Yes.
2
@frankieM_ Combat load goes to the 35, Pilot safety goes to the 35, because it doesn't need to get up close and personal with the enemy to be effective. Ground safety?i'm not sure what you put into that category but sure. The 35 can do CAS, superbly well for the last time. This discussion has been going on since at least 2010. And in the gulf war, the most effective CAS plane was actually the AV-8B.

This video is going to be outdated in just a couple of years as the price continues to go down
2
@sandraanderson311 For what it can do, it's really a steal.
2
@khaccanhle1930 No competition?
2
Since it was conceived.
2
fireson23 No, no no no no aand no.
2
it won't go right away, they will be fazed out as time goes on. Other planes are able to fly with parts of their wings missing too, that's a good design philosophy. FWD's are a great example of that. The Warthog is a legend, but sadly out of time.
1
@StreetSWAT Umm no.
1
@StreetSWAT made it up?
1
@8888stealth I can ask you the exact same thing, how ya know that?
1
@8888stealth But that doesn't mean it happens every time. And not as many times as you might think. Its easy to make assumptions and jump to conclusions, but it doesn't have to be as corrupt and shitty as is often believed.
1
@ChucksSEADnDEAD No they were not.
1
@WalrusWinking exactly.
1
?
1
that's the thing.
1
@dazaspc Umm no.
1
@dazaspc Yes, and that does not help your case.
1
@boatymcboatface666 Well, you can only do so much.
1
@Maka556 Yes.
1
if you really wanted to.
1
Well that isn't exactly what's happening.
1
Huh?
1
Norm T Since when didn't the F-35 fly? And have you seen the condition of for example Germany's air force? only about 10% of their total Eurofighter fleet is in service because they are so hard to maintain and spare parts are not available and expensive.
1
But can't do half the things the 35 can.
1
@JB-qg2uc and?
1
@aayushpaliwal3450 Doubt it.
1
@sumott497 For example.
1
At some things. Not others.
