I'm a white female who has been pulled over and ticketed/fined several times, and I've even gone to jail over another driver once upon a time when I was a young fool. Not once did I ever think it was a good idea to resist the officers. In the recent past, I was pulled over for not using my turn signal at a red light. My son was with me. I used that opportunity to show him exactly how to behave when you get pulled over for a traffic stop. The cop was clearly bored but it didn't matter. I admit that I wasn't using my turn signal and I made my son aware that I was in the wrong (though it was a silly infraction, since I was literally at a dead stop with nobody behind me at the time).
