There are RV storage facilities in Quartzsite. That's probably what she's using. Maybe Parker.

We call that Salisbury Steak. Yum! And yes, you have to eat it the way you did with a little of everything in each bite. Lol.
3
I thought that looked like a horse trailer! Can't wait to see the tour. π
3
That solar panel configuration is ingenious!
3
Oh dang! It took me 4 days to drive that many miles. Lol.
3
It looks just right for the two of them. ππ
3
Fantastic mods! What a cool guy. π
3
Good video, Carol. π
3
The orange juice and butter are a nice touch. π I've never heard of using ginger ale as a fluid when cooking fresh yams. That's interesting. I wonder what that does for them. π€
3
Good job throwing, Carol! That mountain berry pie looked amazing! π
3
What a great demonstration of how to customize a tiny house!
3
Interesting!

Great video, Carol. He is very informative and knowledgeable.

She's so sweet. π

1:23 mark: I think it's a fine line and has to do with semantics. Someone who is living in a car against their will might think of themselves as homeless, whereas someone who chooses the lifestyle would say they're houseless. Home is where the heart is, IMO. I agree with your definition, as well. My SUV doesn't have running water or a flushing toilet, but it's going to be my home nonetheless. I currently live in a garage without plumbing and running water, and it still has an official address--which means I live in a "home" or house. Again, I think some of this is semantics. Or maybe it comes down to what you're willing to tolerate and accept. π€·ββ

Hey, where's our apple pie? π π₯§
2
I look forward to it. π
2
I'll be looking around at land on behalf of a friend when I get out west. Definitely far away from major cities, but still within 20 miles or so of a smaller town.
2
Beautiful area. Thanks for sharing, Carol. And no, it's not strange that you should start hiking at your age. It's not too late at all. π
2
That's how I flip my hashbrowns. They're not so messy, of course, since it's just potatoes and onion. A more shallow skillet is also helpful.
2
Great interview, Carol. π
2
8:33 mark: ROFLMAO!!! Woof, Carol. πΆπ€£
2
Way too big for me! Lol. They seem like a nice couple. π
2
I think your reactions were justified. I'm 51, though, so I guess I might also be old-fashioned. Lol.
2
It's called true gratitude. Bless him. π

Looks like electric companies should be following the lead of that Philly gas station owner, who hired his own security to guard the property. All substations should be guarded 24/7.
2
Love me some tacos! I think I'd use the juice from the mushrooms instead of from the beans since it's more like plain water. That taco seasoning probably already contains a thickener so you don't need the bean water--which is in itself a thickener.

Β @cajunjamis9001Β Idk. I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to find one.
2
Β @gloriouslifeonwheels3621Β For sure. I haven't heard Vivek saying that about Headstart so I'm very uncertain if that's true, but if it is then I would have to take a long look at the proposal. I'm not actually a fan of Headstart. There are better ways of raising/teaching children. If there needs trimming of it, then I'm guessing it has to do with administrative cuts of unnecessary spending.
2
It's called Polska Kielbasa or polish sausage, for anyone wondering. That's what I use in my New Year's Day dish, Carol.
2
How festive! Lol. I have one of those ovens in my wish list but I decided against buying one. I got the Coleman collapsible oven that sits on top of a burner instead. It's much more flexible in its usage since the Omnia only has the one bundt-shaped option. It was cheaper, too. π
2
It's all very disturbing, for sure.

Well thought out, Carol. Congrats on the 2500 subs! π
2
I had a Nissan Rogue for my rental out to Idaho to pick up my Suburban. I didn't like it at all. The thing barely made it through the mountains. It had very little horsepower for that purpose. It was peppy enough to get me pulled over twice on flat lands, though. Don't speed through Nebraska. Lol.
2
The plate was a great match. Lol. π
2
How nice that she was able to reuse the projects from her last van. π
2
My son loves when I make egg burritos for dinner. We don't normally use meat but we always have cheese, salsa, and sour cream. Though sometimes he prefers hot sauce. πΆπΆ
2
I can't see being able to stop working when I get of retirement age, but hey--maybe I'll win the lottery or something else good. Lol.
2
I think it's already unsafe to be in the big cities now. It's gotten ridiculous in some areas.
2
She did a nice job on her rig. π
2
Please be safe going north, Carol. I look forward to your new videos about San Diego. I'm sorry I couldn't keep up with the vids in the last few weeks. I went to Idaho and back to get my rig. I made a show-and-tell video of it after I picked it up in Twin Falls. Be well and safe travels. π
2
Her name is Carol. π
2
Great job, Carol. I've seen Radie on other channels numerous times but have yet to see such an in-depth interview.
2
Indeed you did. π
2
I kept waiting for you to fry the cabbage. Lol. That looks very similar to the NYD recipe I make except I use sauerkraut instead of fresh cabbage and the spices are different. Oh, and I don't use fresh peppers. It's more of a soup, as well. But other than that, all the basics are the same. π
2
Sorry, that stands for New Year's Day. Lol. I think I've described it before, but maybe not. It's a soup with polish sausage, sauerkraut, onion, and potatoes. The main spice is caraway. My aunt who came from Germany used to make it every year.
2
Yep, canned yams are a great thing. Lol. I'm so happy I can find them in organic at Kroger stores. I love yams and sweet potatoes as long as they're not buried by marshmallows. π I actually prefer sweet potato pie over pumpkin pie. My mom got me hooked on that. It's so yummy. Homemade is best, of course, but she would cheat and get Sara Lee. It is easiest, of course. Lol.
2
That's an insane amount of money just for a studio apartment! No wonder so many people have to live out of vehicles or on the streets.
2
Great video, Carol! I guess I'm not a perfectionist, after all. I don't have time for that. There's too much to be done. Lol. "High achiever" it is. π
