Tips are for servers and bartenders, etc., who aren't even making minimum wage. They are service providers to the max, and most of them work their butts off (not all, of course). They have to put up with a tremendous amount of BS to get a decent hourly wage. I've been one of those workers, so I am fully disgusted at the "tip jars" at coffee shops and liquor stores and the like, where the workers are at least making the minimum wage. They don't deserve tips for ringing up a bottle of vodka or a cup of coffee. Sorry, not sorry. Lol.
