  1. What??? That's outrageous! Well, ranchers were telling us this was coming. For 2-3 years they've been talking about the rising cost of grain and feed, and how it was going to eventually get passed on to us. It's here, folks. Everything has gone up in the grocery aisles. I've restricted meat consumption in our house for years to save money. I buy when it's on sale and I store it in my freezer. Then I just rotate it out. I buy in bulk from Azure Standard, too. That saves a lot on basic pantry items--especially since I buy organic foods.
