  1. I don't like the lumber so far apart, either. I'm used to seeing 16" on center or 24" at the most. I'm not sure I'd even want those vented areas if I was going to put insulation in-between the studs and then drywall over it. There doesn't seem to be a reason for them at that point. I wonder if they can make them without the vents. I'm doubtful about the OSB because of all the chemicals in it that will off-gas. So many building materials have the same problem. 😕
