  1. Great presentation, Carol. I've known of this oil for years but have never felt the urge to use it or make it. But if I were to do so, I would gently smash the garlic cloves with the broadside of a knife to release the good stuff. I can see using this oil to make a vinaigrette. No shame in using dried herbs. You just let it sit long enough to rehydrate. I almost exclusively use dry herbs and spices--even cilantro. Congrats on all your new subs. You're almost at 6500! 😁
