  1. Looks good, Carol. I like to add frozen broccoli at the end of boiling the pasta. It only takes a minute or two to defrost and warm through and then I drain it all at once. Besides not wanting to burn the garlic by adding it early on, it's always best for medicinal reasons to add it towards the end. It maintains its health benefits when it's closer to raw. I do the opposite at the end of the dish. I add the sauce to the drained noodles. I dirty two pots but it's fine. One for the noodles and one for the sauce. Also, when I use cream for an Alfredo sauce I don't feel the need to add cream cheese. I use cream cheese when I don't have cream available and have to use milk or half-and-half. The sauce always thickens as it cools off with the pasta. I many times have to add more liquid as it sits off heat. I don't actually like to make the cheater Alfredo since it comes out a little grainy. I love your hat and blouse today. Very nice patterns. 🙂
