Ukraine was forced to negotiate right at the beginning, but those "many countries" persuaded them to fight with promises of weapons and money. Could have been peace for two years already and even sooner if Ukraine followed the Minsk accords with Zelensky delivering on his pre-election promises. And since you did not in any way dispute my claim ot the SMO being only limited scale, I take it that you agree fully.
