  11. Nah, those trees just don't grow that high. They serve as windbreakers to minimize wind erosion of the fields, don't look for some special function for them.

  12.  @brandycat8513  Not very bright, are we? I'll try to explain again. The trees in those tree lines are of a species selected for their sturdiness and relatively small height, because if they grew too high, the strong winds would uproot or break them and they would fall on the fields. Their height is more than sufficient to act as a windbreakers and the treelines in Ukraine(and in Russia too) have always been like this. I know it from personal experience, the treeelines I remember from 30 years ago look the same as the supposedly 10 years old.

  13.  @brandycat8513  The trees are clearly higher than 10ft, don't be ridiculous. And I'm no botanics expert, so I can't tell you the exact species, but I hope you are aware of the fact, that different species of trees grow to different maximum heights. If not, you are hopeless.
