  1. Zaluzhny's assistent Gennadiy Chastyakov was killed by a grenade explosion at his home near Kiev. According to Ukrainska Pravda, the wife of Chastyakov said that the grenade that exploded in her husband's hands was in a gift bag that he brought home. According to the Pravda source, the gift package contained bottles of alcohol and gift glasses in the form of grenades. An explosion occurred while opening the package.
