  2.  @kaytsippy1981  nope that figure is NOT excess deaths. It is the number to have died within 28 days of a positive test for any reason. Excess deaths per annum are lower around 65-70k per annum. This compares with excess deaths of around 50k in the last big flu epidemic in early 2000s. And of course some excess deaths will be as a result of the lockdown effects not from the bug.
