  15. Vaccines don't stop transmission and in Africa which Dr Foolish mentioned, deaths and hospitalisations are lower than much of the highly vaccinated west. Tunisa is currently the worst effected in Africa in terms of deaths per population and (according to worldometers) comes in at 30th... a lower rate than the UK, South Africa 55th, Kenya 165th, Nigeria 195th!!!

We had the EU flag flown by one knob in our village...there was an ongoing silent battle between them and "US"... we ripped it down numerous times.. it kept getting put back up.. they installed automatic lights.. we disabled them.... we finally pulled up the flag pole itself... the got another one... we raised the George Cross in place (all in the middle of the night)... eventually the EU flag disappeared.... replaced with an NHS one!!! LOL but we are waiting for the Ukrainian one any time now...

  24. Drove my old 1959 TR to Italy and back recently... brought a smile to people's faces everywhere we went, started conversations and genuinly brought out the best in people. Cars are a wonderful invention especially petrol ones with twin carbs, the odd oil leak and character.

And I can completely see his concern over having nukes a few mins away from Moscow just as we would if they were in Paris or Mexico City but my original comment didn't at any point paint Russia as "good". Indeed I didn't mention the rights or wrongs of the invasion at all. My comment is entirely about how it's being reported, censored and how people with zero knowledge of the situation are suddenly pining yellow & blue lapel badges on everything they own without any critical thinking of their own.

Hey I'm with you on the feeling and concept of British I really am, just stating what you are i.e. British is now related to passport as much as we may hate it. That being said I've always considered myself English rather than British.

In the UK for example reporting in October that 99% of dead were unvaccinated without mentioning the period covered was Jan-May when almost no one was vaccinated at all. Or outright lies about admission figures without mentioning discharge rates were higher. Completely ignoring reports showing poor efficiacy of vaccines or masks.

  38.  @pilgrim42  my first ever flight was with Singapore Airlines in 1983... I swear the stewardesses were five super models dressed in traditional dress. To be honest watching them swaying down the isles, I would have been happy never to have actually arrived at the destination. Gorgeous, attentive and professional, and never been matched since.

Which was sort of my point, that when I posted the comment I expected most of the youtube audience would shout me down. But they didn't, with many agreeing. It seems that on this issue GB News are at odds with their audience.

Ah I actually make a point of watching BBC, ITV, Sky, GB News and after a mate challenged me too Al Jazzera (rather surprising, perhaps because of their more global take - they seem the least biased of the lot!). I do only manage a few minutes of each before shouting at the TV! Online probably the same usual suspects as you do find Tucker, but particularly PJW and Russel Brand the most entertaining/informative. But I think it's important to watch the MSM and some leftist channels just to get a rounded view... and also to leave some spikey comments of course! :)

Arafat in 70s' started using it to justify his own terrorist organisation.
